Eddie Farmed all of his life. He was the last Rennie on the original Henry Rennie farm which he sold to James Massey in the 1930's.

Jean immigrated to Canada with her family in 1905. They sailed on the Athenia which arrived in Montreal on May 17, 1905 from Glasgow, Scotland. The Athenia was torpedoed and sunk near Inishtrahull, August 16, 1917, with the loss of 15 lives during the first World War. Eddie and Jean are buried in Hillside cemetery.
